Maria Mihaylova joined the LUXIMMO team in 2025. She brings extensive international experience that combines corporate expertise with active work in the non-profit sector, along with outstanding communication skills in a multicultural environment.
Maria completed her primary and secondary education at “Acad. Kiril Popov” High School of Mathematics in Plovdiv. In 2011, she graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, majoring in Turcology, with a specialization at TÖMER University in Istanbul.
She is fluent in Bulgarian, English, and Turkish, enabling her to work confidently with clients and partners from diverse cultural and international backgrounds.
Her professional career began in the corporate sector. Her responsibilities included process management, coordination of international teams, and strategic decision-making in a dynamic business environment.
In 2020, she made a conscious career shift toward the non-governmental sector, where she worked on causes related to children’s healthcare, refugee integration, volunteerism, and social responsibility in Bulgaria. This experience further strengthened her empathy, adaptability, and ability to build trust-based relationships.
Among her professional achievements are two “Buyer of the Year” awards during her corporate career, as well as multiple nominations and a volunteerism award for the organization she worked with at the Annual Volunteer Awards in 2023 and 2025.
At LUXIMMO, one of Maria’s key strengths is her ability to combine business-driven thinking with a human-centered approach. Her experience working with people from diverse ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds allows her to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and build lasting relationships based on trust.
Her guiding professional principle is discipline, which she considers essential for consistency, accountability, and long-term success.
In her personal life, Maria values the time spent with her family. Sport is an important part of her daily routine, helping her maintain both physical and mental balance.
