Lovely home in a small village 15 - 20 mins walk from Plachkovtsi, (many local shops) and a short bus ride to the lovely local town of Tryavna (brilliant market on a Monday morning). Tryavna is a picturesque mountain town with cobbled streets and interesting history. The distance from Sofia and Varna is more or less the same, approximately 3 hours drive, also accessible by bus and train (Bus from Sofia to Tryavna runs twice a day approx 19 Levs/ˆ8, takes about 3.5 hours). The most distinctive feature of Tryavna is its architecture with many of the original houses having been preserved. There are several small galleries, museums, workshops and ateliers. The town is famous for its woodcarving school and art galleries. Our home is the last house on a lane (i.e. no traffic) that leads up to hill tops with panoramic views and numerous walking trails within a short stride. It is a very safe environment, the neighbours are really friendly and very helpful. The air is clean, very peaceful with just the sound of the many bird species and stunning views from the house terraces. We are surrounded by walnut and fruit trees. We have been featured in "A Place in the Sun" which was aired on UK TV (2020 & 2021). MAIN HOUSE
