Primorsko is a city located in the southeastern part of Bulgaria, on a cape of the Black Sea coast between Stamopolu Bay and Devil's Bay, 50 km from Bourgas and 60 km from the airport of Bourgas.
The area is covered with broad-leaved trees and bushes and is actually a big park with a lot of alleys among an old beech forest. Primorsko was awarded the prestigious "Blue Flag" because of exceptionally preserved nature in the area.
There are four beaches in the town and around it - north, central, south and "Pearl".
The resort is famous for its 10 km sandy beach, which is one of the longest on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
Water attractions include water skiing, water slides, surfing, scooters, jet skis, fishing, boating and yachting, beach volleyball, tennis and many others. Primorsko features a big Aqua park, as well.
Primorsko is a quiet town, especially favorable for family holidays.
The population grew by more than 3000 people and during the summer months the number of people increases several times because of the numerous tourists.
The climate is influenced by the Mediterranean, temperatures are suitable for summer vacation from May to October, winter is mild and short. The average July temperature is + 23-24 ° C.
Primorsko infrastructure is well developed, there are regular buses to the neighboring towns and resorts, restaurants offer traditional Bulgarian cuisine, fish delicacies, there are many fast food restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, bars, discos, pubs, snack bars and shops.
Accommodation in Primorsko is diverse - from private homes, villas, family hotels to hotel complexes. On the wide beaches are located more than 80 holiday complexes and summer camps.
Ropotamo natural reserve is near Primorsko. It is one of the largest natural reserves famous for its rich variety of rare birds and plants.
Only 6 km southeast of the town is famous the Maslen cape. It is remarkable because of the natural fjord that was formed there. 5 km north of Primorsko a unique Thracian sanctuary can be found.
